Skills for Life
Skills for Life are five universal skills that children and young people can develop to achieve goals, gain self-confidence and record future employment and volunteer skills. Manchester has a designated team to support organisations, staff and young people to access skills for life training and resources.
Young people and staff who support them can use the Kloodle App to record their skills for life online.
The team has a range of resources available to support children and young people to record their individual skills.
The 5 skills are:
Communication
Problem Solving
Self-belief
Self-management
Teamwork
