Manchester has officially been recognised as a UNICEF Child Friendly City – a major milestone that celebrates our commitment to putting children and young people at the heart of the city.
Working with UNICEF UK since 2022 through the Child Friendly Cities & Communities programme, Manchester has been embedding children’s rights into decision-making, services and everyday life across the city.
Together with children, families, schools, community organisations and partners, we’re building a Manchester where all children and young people feel heard, valued and able to flourish.
