Unity Arts Exhibition in Chorlton Park

Unity Arts is proud to curate an exhibition of creative work to coincide with this year’s Chorlton Arts Festival.

The exhibition will be held in The Whitehouse Chorlton Park, opening on Sunday afternoon 19th May and closing with a free activity afternoon for children, young people and families on Saturday 25th May.

Art on display will include work produced by children, young people and elders attending Unity Arts weekly sessions and will present a wide range of talent and creativity on the theme ‘Imagining Landscapes’.

During the week there will be an open access ArtBox session on 22nd May, and on Thursday 23rd May visitors will be welcome to an evening of spoken word hosted by our younger staff.

In the coming months, as part of Unity Arts’ 30th anniversary, we will also be launching our first adventures in digital art exhibitions, showcasing the work of our organisation over the decades. Originally formed in 1994, in response to an increase in racial tensions and violence, Unity has had 30 successful years of celebrating diversity and promoting inclusive communities through quality, community arts activities for all.
