In support of ‘Our Year’, MyHub is offering free music centre membership for all Manchester pupils.

There are a number of different music centres across the city of Manchester, with a variety of music and a wide range of music styles including rock, pop, urban, vocal bands & orchestra for all levels!

The Music Centres are funded by MyHub and run by One Education Music. Families are always welcome to visit a centre to see if you would like to join our music community. If you already play an instrument there will be a group for you to join OR you can come and have a go at learning an instrument.

What is MyHub?

All schools in Manchester are partners of MyHub – the music education hub for the City of Manchester.

MyHub’s vision is to inspire, facilitate and support children learn about, take part in and enjoy music and singing throughout their lives.

Music Centres are central to MyHub’s work. This year, MyHub is focusing on wellbeing, recruitment of new pupils and expanding pathways across the city. Music centres in North, South and Central have been re-launched, and MyHub are delighted to introduce a new Music Centre in East Manchester.  There are also specialist music centres for Irish music, Russian music and Steelpan groups.
