The Big Survey

The children’s commissioner has launched #TheBigFuture survey, for all children in England to tell her what it’s like to be a child today – changes they want to see in their communities, their biggest concerns & future hopes.

Launching the survey, Dame Rachel said children’s voices must be heard more consistently, particularly as major decisions are made about their future and their role in democracy. She is calling for stronger citizenship and democracy education in schools, alongside greater engagement from political parties with younger audiences, including visits to schools and community spaces and more accessible, child-friendly manifestos.

The Commissioner is encouraging children and young people across England to take part in The Big Future survey, which has been sent to schools and colleges nationwide and is also available online here: http://www.childrenscommissioner.gov.uk/thebigfuture
